The morning of Brittanie and Josh’s elopement, there was freezing rain up on the Blue Ridge mountains. When I opened my GPS, it informed me that the roads were closed to the overlook we had planned to go to. No lie, I was sad. I called Brittanie to let her know so we could discuss options but, I decided we'd go ahead and take the drive because the GPS could have been wrong. Hahaha, I was the wrong one. When we got onto the Blue Ridge Parkway and literally 5 miles from the overlook, there was a huge Road Closed sign. We discussed whether we’d take the hike but decided against it since we had the kids and a few guest. So we walked about a half of a mile or so and settled on a spot. There these two said their vows and I do’s surrounded by the ones near and dear to their hearts.
